Africa Medical Mission

An Africa medical mission may combine all the aspects of a medical mission that brings urgent medical care to the citizens of Africa with a excellent spiritual message that helps people hear the gospel of Jesus Christ.

These missions are useful for doing life-changing surgeries that people could not afford otherwise and for dealing with preventable diseases that couldn’t have been dealt with any other way.

Medical missions combine medical care with saving grace to effect a life-changing and spiritual growth effect in people.

One of the top organizations that engages in African Medical Missions is African Medical Mission. It goes by the same name. This group provides strength and hope to the poorest communities. Quality healthcare is delivered to these communities firsthand. It was founded 1981, more than 30 years ago.

Pre-med and medical students can also take mission trips to Africa.

These missionary trips are wonderful for getting pre-med and medical students acclimated to the climate of helping people that are disease-ridden, stressed, and impoverished. Once you’ve seen the worst, it’s simple to handle conditions that are less terrible.

You can do all kinds of things on an Africa medical mission. You can work with orphanages, do small-term work, medical-dental work, teach English, or engage in further missions training. All of these actions directly or indirectly help medical care in the missions.

Mercy Ships is one particularly huge African medical mission organization. They send medical doctors on ships to Africa to help people with life-changing surgeries. Mercy Ships basically bills itself as the world’s largest hospital ship. There are medical and non-medical positions available so you can still help out if you’re not an established medical doctor.

You can also take part in the Anchor Church and Mercy Teams programs too. Volunteer, give, or pray to get involved, make a gift, or bring hope and healing to the world’s forgotten poor. Mercy Ships is a truly democratizing enterprises that really helps the poorest people of the world gain equal footing with the rest of us.

There are thousands of Africa medical missions to get involved in. American Leprosy Missions, Cross Cultural Solutions, and Global Health Ministries are just some of the organizations out there that are involved in helping the poorest people of Africa get urgently needed medical care.

Medical care for the masses is what Africa medical missions aspire to, and they succeed, most of the time, in helping out the poorest people in the world.

    Dear Sir or Madam,

my name is Robert Nagypal and I am originally from Slovakia. I am 20 years ancient. I have been studying Medical Faculty at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic since 2008. At the time I am a student of the 3rd year.
I realize that God gave us various opportunities to serve Him. Because of my future job, I want to use my God-given gifts and skills for sharing the gospel. I believe we can speak about God´s Grace not only by speaking loudly in the centers of huge cities, but we can equally work as Christians in those places in the world that are not so well loved. We can speak out God´s message by working with people and serve people who have never heard about God. I reckon that because I am a medical student I could probably be helpful in some hospitals or medical institutions.
That’s the reason why I am writing this letter. I want to go abroad and use my skills as a student in Christian medical institutions. My primary motivation for becoming a medical doctor is to reflect Christ’s qualities in everything I do, not because of having MD title after my name.

I do not know much about your organization. I want to question you whether you would be interested in this kind of help. In case you would, please let me know what are your conditions and possibilities of accepting me to your program.

    Peace to you.

    Robert Nagypal
