Can someone tell me what a Congregational Minister is?

Question by Midnight S: Can someone tell me what a Congregational Minister is?
I have to do an annexation debate from the point of view of Josiah Strong. I have to include his occupation which is a congregational minister. I don’t have the slightest thought what that is. Can someone help?
