The mission of Africa Ministries is to care for orphans, street children, widows and other vulnerable members of society through education, skills training, shelter, health, spiritual guidance and reintegration.
UNICEF estimates that approximately 30,000 children are homeless in Lusaka, the capital of Zambia. The number of orphans is projected to reach a staggering 970,000 by 2014
Most of the orphans have no hope of obtaining formal education. In addition, between 6 to 10 percent of these orphans become street children, while less than 1 percent live in established orphanages.
These children who are under the age of 13 are partly HIV/AIDS orphans, victims of divorce, peer pressure, lack of parental guidance or extreme poverty. They lack shelter, proper nutrition, education and health care. Moreover, they are exposed to health hazards, continuous abuse (both psychological and physical) and violence. Widespread poverty, intensified by the HIV/AIDS pandemic, has lead to a breakdown in normal social support mechanisms.
Care community Education Center is an indigenous organization which focuses its work in Northern Uganda more so in the West Nile region. The region is affected by war and hence the population is vulnerable to poverty and diseases which stems from lack of education, serious Health issues, environmental distraction among others. The majority of families in the region have been ruined by HIV/AIDS as the results of the war thus rising the number of orphans and vulnerable children, widows and displaced peoples.
The organization is therefore committed to alleviate the causes of poverty and implement recovery and development programmes in the region through :-
Education, child rights governance and protection, HIV/AIDS and lively hoods and food security.

In addition to that awsome work they have 8 schools/otphanages which feeds and educates of 3,000 Orphan and needy children. We run a young ministry in the name of Fantastic Holistic Transformation International Ministries which is a community initiative with a vision of “Transforming Lives to Touch Lives”. Our mission is: to preach the word to transform the world holistically-Spiritually, Socially and Economically. The ministry started as a youth initiative and registered as a C.B.O in the year 2000 under the name Christian Youth Network with a vision of giving “Practical solution to community challenges” which is still the vision of our youth wing. This is because there are still many challenges in the rural communities with youths as the topmost challenge-drug abuse, unemployment, rebellion, pre-marital sex, early pregnancies, prostitution, robberies, fee, and HIV/AIDS infection and spreading among many others.
Besides youth being a challenge, there is HIV/AIDS, malaria, water borne infections, poverty, child molestation and abuse and gender imbalance among others. This is what went us to start Fantastic Holistic Transformation International Ministries so as to reach the whole community with the message of transformation through varied initiatives. The youth initiatives reach youths and children both in local churches through seminars and conferences and in primary and secondary schools. We also started a school for orphans and other vulnerable children in the name of El-Shaddai Integrated Educational Centre where we reach them both spiritually and virtually with food, clothing, books &pens, shelter, counseling and many other ways.
We have a Headquarter church in the rural parts of Western Kenya and a branch in Mbale Uganda. We hold annual conferences for children, youths, women, couples and for all people. We also organize outreach meetings for the same groups in schools and community. We as well organize annual crusades both in Kenya and Uganda where the opening one for the year 2010 shall be at Masanda in Mbale Uganda in the first week of January that is 3rd to 9th.
Our desire is partnership in spreading the gospel to the uttermost parts of the world and shading practical like of Christ to the needy rural communities. We shall be pleased if our request for partnership shall be painstaking.

SPECIFIC PROBLEMS :Education is often the first causalities for an orphan & vulnerable children. Children do not go to school because of domestic burden problem upon them become too fantastic. They also become exposed to exclusion from other services including vital information about health, nutrition & life skills.The nature of work children engage in usually expose them to sexual abuse,forced to work as slaves with out a voice. They are rarely had & have limited exposure to information & continually exposed to risk of contracting HIV/AIDS. Its moderately well known that the healthy emotional cognitive & physical development of young people requires that they have at least one consisted & loving care giver with whom they make bond. Children living out of family structure lack positive role models & are at greater risks of feeling powerless & disaffected to crime. Life on streets usually means a life of invisibility especially so for children living on the streets. Street children are often shunned,ignored & excluded. Street children are not pleasant to look at, living on the streets means being dirty,naked,& being ill. One on the streets becomes vulnerable to all forms of exploitation & abuse & their daily lives are likely to be removed from the ideal child hood.Street children luck adult or mentor to tell him right or incorrect & therefore prone to drugs & substance abuse. Orphans & street children usually, they have a poor self image. they leave home because of general poverty. Death of parents due to HIV/AID, poverty of education, relevant training, poverty of potential which leads father to despair & give up hope, poverty of esteem & chance, parental abuse & beating, poverty in form of hunger, broken homes & families & civil wars.
INTRODUCING HEARTSTRINGS, IJEBU IMUSIN.
We are delighted to introduce Heartstrings Nursery and Primary School in a village called Ijebu-Imusin, Ogun State, Nigeria to you .We write to request for guidelines on partnership, technical help, provision of resources, funds- grants or loans or volunteers or a list of other organisations we can approach to support our projects.
Heartstrings Nursery and Primary School is registered as a Community Based Organisation.The school opened in October 2004.The school is approved by Ogun State Goverment and the Federal Goverment of Nigeria.
We work with vulnerable and disadvantaged children living in exceptionally hard conditions and their families.We designed our own method of teaching called the Heartian Method which is based on our culture. It is child-centred.Our children have participated and won on National Radio Contests.
Some of our services include provision of a functional library with Internet access called the BRAINS Library; Heartstrings Mega Farms.We practise mixed farming .On our demonstration farm, we have over 35 species of plant and a poultry. We will start a fish farm in 2011.
We have established a plantain plantation and we plot to establish a large cocoa farm on 20 acres of land in 2011. We plot to process and export.
We run Heartstrings Young Entrepreneurs Society. In conjuction with community experts, our pupils from age 5, go for internship to learn practical skills required for some vocations.
Our pupils need support from reputable organisations like yours to actualise their leadership roles, break the circle of poverty and combat corruption.
They need stimulating classrooms, workshops for vocational development on their permanent site by 2012. They also need school supplies, resources for the BRAINS library, publication of their ‘Fun Series’ books. We have received technical help from Haggai Institue, USA; book donations from Deyhle Foundation, Latter Day Saints and a group of US based Volunteers.

My names are Coach/Player Epah Gyvira.I am a Cameroonian by race and I am 39 years. I am football fanatic and this can be seen from my experience in the game of football. In Cameroon, i played for a excellent number of clubs and national tournaments. My football career in Cameroon has a lot of impact on my life.
Due to my talent, I chose to travel to South Africa where I could show case my talent in the game of football. I played for many clubs in South Africa most remarkable is the ARCADIA SHEPARDS F.C. We emerged Champions of the VODACOM League in 2003-2004. I also did coaching management because of the like that I had for soccer. My career in South Africa has a remarkable legacy in my life. While in South Africa, i traveled to Japan for a test match but unfortunately, I was questioned for failure to renew my passport. Consequently, I was sent to Cameroon. The tale is really a sad one. All what I had worked for in South Africa perished.
Back in Cameroon, i did not give up my passion for soccer. I joined a few soccer clubs but it was always hard to make it to the top. My soccer career in the pitch diminished but i still have the passion for soccer.
Because of my Charisma and Talent, i was appointed coach of the Small Foot F.C ,Tiko D2. My coaching career with this club was poor because it was very hard to transform the barbaric and uncultured talent of my boys to the professional realm of soccer.
While coach for the Small Foot F.C, I always had in mind the intention of empowering football in my community. Today, I have come up with a soccer school called the ARCADIA SOCCER ACADEMY. I have nursed this dream for three years before putting it to motion. Arcadia United F.C is one of the clubs which i played for while i was in South Africa.
The Academy is just 1 YEAR OLD and I have a total of 49 boys ages ranging from 5-20. I am struggling to preserve these boys for international soccer. The reason why I am mailing you today is to beg on behalf of this young academy, my community which has no football club right now, and Cameroon in general to help us with Material Aid.We pray that the NISKAYUNA SOCCER CLUB HELP US WITH THE USED JERSEYS.

I want to introduce our project, LIVING FOUNTAIN CARE POINT which is a children’s Home based in Mombasa and run by a small group of volunteer christians. We are providing shelter and basic services to abandoned children-food, clothing, health care etc in a loving environment to children aged 1 day to 3 years. Most of these children are seriously malnourished and in need of extensive care.

Hello brother/sister, we run an orphaned children s home in Mukono Uganda .The home caters for 74 children and provides for all there basic needs i.e. food, shelter, clothes, education and health.
We are looking for donors or donations from individuals or corporates from around the world who would be willing to sponsor a child at a cost of 30 US per month, for any duration of time.

I was processed 200 sqr yards of land to construel a housefor may use few years back but now I sold out that land with that amount to manttain two orphans homes with one hundred children’s we are giving food for children’s in one time daily iam not able to give sufficient food for them in the evening time for orphans do to laock of financial support .

Saints Orphanage International (self help Group), Foster Care and Support for Aids Orphans and needy children is a Charitable Children’s Institution that was founded in the year 2007 by the founder of saints orphanage and as a solution of addressing the following problems:-
High prevalence of Orphans due to increase in HIV/AIDS pandemic.
Increase in incidents of drug trafficking and doping among the youth and children.
High rate of Primary school dropouts due to high poverty levels in the community that culminates in practice of prostitution among the girls and boys youth group. Hence the institution was founded as a way of rehabilitating HIV/AIDS Orphans and Vulnerable Children from the streets and its locality.
PROGRAMS OFFERED BY THE ORPHANAGE:
Provides foster care to Orphans and Vulnerable Children.
Provides adequate feeding to the foster care children in the programme.
Provides both Primary and Secondary Education to the Children in the programme while staying with us in the centre and other staying with their respective foster parents and guardians.
The programme caters for the medical needs of the children whereby it has a first Aid Kit to attend to emergency cases.
The programme offers guiding and counciling to its children so as to enable them grow up as responsible citizens of this Country.
The Programme encourages freedom of worship, face and practice of cultural beliefs by its children.

Saints orphanage observes and promotes the realisation of children’s rights, both girls and boys, with commitment to the below objectives.
Children are equal partners in all actions, concerning their well being and development.
Children grow in an environment that guarantees them their full rights to survival, development, protection and participation.
Families and the orphanage are the basic unit of care and nurturing for a child but NGOs, Civil society and Government must support them in the task. Assists provide an enabling environment and institutional framework for the full realization of the child’s rights Kenya.
To advocate for the girl child prostitution and early marriages, every child is entitled to equity and justice, irrespective of sex, age, colour, creed, religion, ability or disability.
To end child labour and emotional abuse by their employers ranging from defilement, overworking, molestation, forced drug abuse / trafficking and starvation among others.
