And as governor has put people to death, isn’t that playing God? Where in the new testament does it say that if a government decides that it is OK that it is OK for you to go ahead and kill someone if you are a minister? What about suicide and assisted suicide then? Yet people are so worried about abortion being murder, I just don’t get it, can someone explain? It seemes like a big control issue to me.

Yes, that was troubling. He said he studied each case closely but in the end he decided to put a lot of people to death.

But what’s more troubling is that a Baptist Minister is running for President.

There is this internship program at a church kinda far away and i want to go to it but it costs around $ 4500 and that covers books tuition and where i will live. Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

There are scholarships/grants that are offered based on your religion. So I suggest that you could search for one online and see if you can be awarded some funds

In France do they have a Prime Minister and a President or one of them? If they have both, then who are they and do they have the right to dismiss each other? If they only have one of them, which one is it and who is he/she?

Yes, a country can have both a Prime Minister and a President. Usually, the President is head of state, while Prime Minister is head of government. In this case, the President has higher authority. France has a President.

Do a Priest and a Baptist Minister study the same length of time in Seminary?

Which, a Priest or a Southern Baptist Minister, has the more extensive education? Are Priests ever appointed to a parish without any formal education? (Particularly missionary priests).

Not generally.

If a priest already has an undergrad degree, he will spend at least 4 more years in theology school.

I knew a Southern Baptist that didn’t make it out of high school. I’m not saying they’re all undereducated, but I don’t think the SBC has a minimum level of education requirement to become ordained. It seems to be based on a man’s subjective opinion that he has a “calling.”

it does touch upon the subject IN BIBLE…. (those who came to earth and mated with women of earth..and a race of Giants were born.. the manuscript was found after Bible was formed…
I dont depend on ANY manuscripts…other than hearing the Word… and being saved inside through Jesus.. so as far as Salvation is concerned, that work was done..
but as far as “study” was the book of Enoch proven unauthentic.. I KNOW book of barnabas is a fake…
anywayz because it was helpful for me to read part of it so far…
just explains therace of giants, the wickedness before the flood etc…
also the devil azazel.. I felt this MIGHT be the spirit muslims worship (without knowing of course) because they …long time ago sacrificed goatsto him… (asmuslims do now sacrifice GOATS) AND.. he was sent under the ground.. to be let out later.. he has a lot of scientific powers…. and muslims are all into science now (to prove their god)
AND they are all waiting for the “mahdi” to come out from under the ground!!!
perhaps mahdi and azazel are one in the same.
ahahah to Chris below when this was said in Jude what do you think the writer of Jude as reading??? the book of Enoch! ahahaha

I’ve heard you are supposed to go into communications and sociology type courses. But i want to be exactly sure what will get me into ministry for my career. Does anyone know?

You could major in Religion or Religious studies. I know a college chaplain who had been a preacher for quite a few years before becoming the college chaplain. She had an undergraduate degree in sociology and then went to Duke University for seminary school. Some schools may even offer a bachelors in theology. Sociology, communication, and psychology courses are also good courses to consider. If you are at a school that doesn’t offer religion or religious studies as a major I would say that you should consider sociology and then take some courses in communications and psychology.

No it isn’t that way. John gave his Ministry over to Jesus, and it was foretold that John would proceed Jesus.
