Question by Nonya B: What happens when the minister destroys the marriage license?
Ok, so my dad is a minister, and he married me and my husband. Well, at the reception, my new husband and my brother got into a fight. My dad got p***** off and destroyed the marriage license. It was already signed, but now I can’t turn it in. I live in franklin county missouri. What should I do? and is there any punishment for what my minister/dad did??

I’m just guessing here, but you have witnesses to the marriage and the document was signed so I think it would need to be reissued and registered. Go see a lawyer if your dad is still angry about it and won’t register the marriage. The punishment you dad will have is that hes made things unbearable for you and your husband and that relationship will be permanently marked.

Which coutry you are from. Then only I can give you the local address. There are authorised man power agents in every country. In some countries the Govenment itself is acting as the recruiting agent. Let me know where are you from……..

Ours leads both services music and also he is the youth leader too.

They usually have multiple jobs to fill even if it is a music leader, God uses them for so much more still.

I prepared my input for the newsletter so that it could be copied and pasted. Turned the information in before the deadline, and made myself available for any questions. Nothing was ever left out without a call to me. Perhaps you need to talk with the church secretary or the person in charge of the newsletter and find out what is expected of you, rather than complaining here in a public forum of strangers who don’t know you, your work ethics or your church. I think using this forum in that way is more than a bit self-serving, don’t you?

she illegally set dementors on harry, in the 5th book. however, in the 6th book, she was still working in the ministry, and in the 7th book, she was in charge of rounding up the muggles! couldnt harry have told rufus scrimgeour, the new Minister, what umbridge did? or couldnt dumbledore have told him?

I know!!! I think about that all the time!!!

She probably conned Rufus to smooth things over. And the Thicknesse was under the imperius curse so he didn’t care … the main thing is Scrimgeour. No one probably cared because all Dumby wanted most was her outta Hogwarts …

What is the difference between an Officiate and an Ordained Minister?

We want to marry on the beach in Alabama and it says that an Officiate will marry us but for a larger fee an Ordained Minister will marry us. Now I am worried that it won’t be legal….

Officiate is just another name for ordained clergy person – minister, rabbi, priest, etc. It’s legal if the person is ordained and the completed marriage license is turned into the courthouse.
