Turrialba, Costa Rica And The Pacuare Lodge
This time my husband, my son and I wanted to go to a place where we could relax. So we chose to go to a gorgeous eco-lodge in Turrialba Costa Rica called Pacuare Lodge. I have been to Pacuare Lodge before so I was well aware about how gorgeous this place is but let me describe it to you:
I have been to Pacuare Lodge before so I was well aware about how gorgeous this place is but let me describe it to you: Let’s start by saying the it is in the middle of the rain forest and it is right next to one of Costa Rica’s best rafting spots, the Pacuare River. It offers thirteen independent bungalows and a main lodge.
But the best part about this hotel for me is yet to come. This isn’t just an eco-lodge, this is one of the few hotels in the world that cause the lowest impact to the environment a hotel could cause.
The hotel has five lodging options and for me they are all gorgeous. But the ones that impressed me the most were the honeymoon suites and the linda vista suites. They both have an outdoor shower with solar heated water and some of the best views on the property. After a lot of thinking and walking around the property I came to the conclusion that the hotel would make a fantastic destination for honeymooners. But don’t get me incorrect, this place is also fantastic for family vacations. The property has plenty of open spaces where my son was able to run freely and safely.
My family and I stayed in one of the linda vista suites and loved it. The room was simply gorgeous. I loved the place and the rafting tour that we took during our stay in the area was incredible. The guides were fantastic and we got to see a huge amount of wildlife. Plus the tour around the Turrialba volcano was fantastic.
I would recommend this area of Costa Rica to any wildlife and nature lover, but specially to adventurous honeymooners.
